Prices are going up, what's next?

       Since Bob Iger has been back as CEO of the Walt Disney Company everyone has been happy to see the changes to come. He knows that the prices have gone up tremendously and Disney is now seen as a "Luxury vacation destination" which isn't what Walt wanted. With his return he was going to look at how to return things to normal as much as possible. We saw many good changes until recently. We all know that Disney used to have Fast Passes which was replaced with Genie+. Fast passes were, shocker, FREE and was way user friendly. Once they came out with this new payed service we were all upset but it had its pluses. This service prices and availability vary by date. Recently after Spring Break we saw the max price go up! Originally, the max price was 29 per person and it went up to 35! Now if it is very busy you will be paying 35 for each person in your group. THAT IS CRAZY EXPENSIVE! What could be next? Did someone say Annual pass?

    The time has finally come! Annual passes are coming back!!! They have been gone since covid started and we never thought we'd see them again. On April 20th three of these passes will become available for sale online. There will be Disney Incredi-Pass, Disney Sorcerer Pass, and Disney Pirate Pass. Lets go over each one so you know which will best suit you. (Since prices aren't out I will not include those)

Disney Pirate Pass

  • Florida Residents only 
  • Reservation-based admission most days (subject to blockout dates including peak and holiday periods)
  • Up to 20% off select dining and merchandise 

Disney Sorcerer Pass

  • Eligible Disney Vacation Club Members or Florida Residents only 
  • Reservation-based admission most days (subject to blockout dates including peak and holiday periods)
  • Up to 20% off select dining and merchandise 

Disney Incredi-Pass

  • All guests 
  • Reservation-based admission. No blockout dates apply
  • Up to 20% off select dining and merchandise 
    Once these go on sale it is going to be a crazy to get them. Make sure you know which is best for you before hand. I hope you get the one you want!
