Prices are going up, what's next?

Since Bob Iger has been back as CEO of the Walt Disney Company everyone has been happy to see the changes to come. He knows that the prices have gone up tremendously and Disney is now seen as a "Luxury vacation destination" which isn't what Walt wanted. With his return he was going to look at how to return things to normal as much as possible. We saw many good changes until recently. We all know that Disney used to have Fast Passes which was replaced with Genie+. Fast passes were, shocker, FREE and was way user friendly. Once they came out with this new payed service we were all upset but it had its pluses. This service prices and availability vary by date. Recently after Spring Break we saw the max price go up! Originally, the max price was 29 per person and it went up to 35! Now if it is very busy you will be paying 35 for each person in your group. THAT IS CRAZY EXPENSIVE! What could be next? It is sad to think that the happiest place on earth is very costl...

Magic Kingdom!!!

Day 5, March 17th, MY BIRTHDAYYYYY! THE day at Magic Kingdom for my Birthday has finally arrived! We woke up real early for this day. I took my time getting ready and then rushed to the busses. Reminder, sometimes the lines are really long and you may need to take another method of transportation. We bought genie+ as well, so at 7 am I made our first reservation for Space Mountain. When we arrived we decided to rope drop 7 Dwarfs Mine Train, which is a great idea if you don't want to buy the individual lightening lane because this ride usually has over an hour wait. Through out the day I made the rest of the reservations and we got on almost all the rides which was amazing! We even saw the castle show and cavalcades throughout the day. I also went to Sir Mickeys to get pixie dusted for my birthday! Of course we had to go meet mickey in his 50th attire. Yes it may have seemed like go go go, but honestly, for this being our first full day at a park it wasn't that crazy. We took our breaks when eating, enjoying kiddy rides, or just sitting and taking in the view. At night we saw the fireworks and shortly after had dinner at... CINDERELLA'S ROYAL TABLE!!! IN CINDERELLAS CASTEL! It was the best experience every, being able to have dinner and meet the princesses, I felt like a princess. I even had my first glass of wine there and had a birthday cake waiting for me. Back to the fireworks, it was honestly so magical being able to see a new show and see tinker bell fly across the castle, gets me every time. I do miss the older show when I was 15 that show felt like it was for me rather than just songs and parts of movies. Since our reservation to dinner was the latest we stayed after the park closed and being able to be there after people had left was magical. I had a great time with my best friend and I wouldn't have changed it for the world.
